The GCA or Golf Clubmakers Association was founded in 1980 and with over 6,000 members it is both the oldest and largest clubmaking association. The GCA is devoted exclusively to help promote the craft of true clubmaking and club fitting.

The GCA of Europe is the European branch of this association which, whilst sharing the GCA’a dedication to clubmaking, focuses more on the golf trade in Europe and the different aspects of the profession over here.

Here at Golfsmith, it is our prime objective to further raise the profile of the GCA of Europe and to educate the golfing public in the importance of custom built clubs made by fully qualified GCA of Europe clubmakers.

The GCA of Europe offers clubmakers the opportunity to further their knowledge and understanding of golf club technology and custom fitting. The GCA of Europe forum site enables clubmakers to share tips, advice and help each other solve problems faced by fellow clubmakers in their businesses.

The Technical Department on the web site is accessable only to GCA of Europe members, on this site clubmakers can keep up with the latest developments in the industry and keep one step ahead of both the competition and their customers. The GCA of Europe seminar and golf days are an ideal opportunity to get together, swap experiences and generally talk shop, whilst learning from the leading figures in the golf industry.

The exclusive GCA of Europe CPD days enable the clubmaker to continue their education and enhance their reputation in the field of clubmaking. The special offers and discounts more than offset the annual membership fee. No serious clubmaker of golf professional can afford not to be a member of Europe’s premier clubmaking organisation.
