THE BENEFITS OF PLAYING CUSTOM FITTED CLUBS

It is clearly obvious that we all have different swings and abilities and to assume we can all get the best performance out of our swing using the same set of clubs as our golfing partners is clearly a risky business. That's where playing with clubs custom fitted to your swing comes into play - shafts type and flex are not the only options within the shaft as shaft weight, torque (the second dimensioned twist of the shaft) shaft length and bend point are all basic requirements of getting a shaft fitted to your swing. The same applies for club heads and grips. Getting this right is an essential in maximising your performance. GCA Europe Members can help you take the risk from this area of golf and help you on your way to better golf.
WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR GOLF GAME

There are three main ways they will improve your game using customer goals and weakness's to investigate your shot problems. Then using their custom knowledge offer you constructive advice on the best options for you swing.
  1. Customisation - They will look at your current clubs and analyse their suitability to your swing, shaft flex, clubhead lie, grip size etc. Then re-fit your current set with the correct shafts and clubhead specifications that are matched to your ability and swing.
  2. Custom-build - This will involve the same analysis as customisation, but will offer you the opportunity of buying complete new golf clubs selected by you and your GCA Clubmaker, which are custom assembled to your swing. These could be either Golfsmith or Snake Eyes models and will be assembled from scratch using heads, shafts and grips giving you a unique set custom built to your swing.
  3. Custom-matched - This again involves the player interview and analysis shown in 1. Customisation, but ensures that you could purchase off the shelf drivers etc, that are suited to you swing.
